About Us
Adam Reale gave birth to Charlie’s Manual when he realized that the only thing in life that he actually cares about is baseball. He is currently a journalism major at THE Pennsylvania State University and hopes to one day write about baseball for a living. He is the proud owner of the best fantasy baseball team known to man, and will regale you with stories of elation and misery about it whether you like it or not. (It’s his blog; deal with it.) He will do his best to keep his bias to a maximum and show the world exactly why the Phillies are the best team in baseball.
Mike Reale likes to tell people he’s one of the co-creators of the blog, but knows deep down his brother Adam is the brains of the operation. He attended Saint Joseph’s University in West Philadelphia, a swift 15 minute drive from the ballpark. He graduated with a degree in accounting in 2008, and has worked in the same accounting firm for nearly two years since graduation. Having zero ability to write coherent sentences, and a vocabulary of a ten year old, Mike will do his best to try and articulate his biased opinion of the Philly sports teams. Currently having season tickets to the Phillies and the Union, and being a former season ticket holder of the Sixers, Mike has a good perspective of the Philadelphia sports scene.
Leo Jackson will be a guest writer for Charlie’s Manual, occasionally posting whenever he wants to. Leo graduated from Pennsylvania State University in December of 2009 (even though the diploma says May 2010) with a degree in Criminal Justice. He has absolutely no writing experience (sans a creative writing class which he barely passed) so please excuse the grammatical errors. As an avid Phillies, Flyers and Eagles fan since birth, he will look to give personal insight on the Phillies and if the time comes the other teams as well (except for the Sixers until they become relevant again).
