Hello fellow Phillies fans, and welcome to Charlie’s Manual. Contrary to popular belief, this is not actually Charlie Manuel’s personal gameplan (shocking, I know). It’s merely a little slice of life from three kids who love baseball. Nothing more, and nothing less. If you’re looking for a blog filled with in-depth, statistical analysis with long, lyrical quotes straight from the mouths of the players and managers, well, it was nice knowing you, and good day. We’re not all about that here. Charlie’s Manual is a blog dedicated to enjoying and reveling in the greatest sport on Earth. It’s about watching a game just to watch the game; about marveling at Cole Hamels’ changeup and staring awestruck at a 450-foot Ryan Howard opposite field bomb. If you’re with us, come on in.
